As far as protection goes, they might provide some abrasion resistance but there is no chance these will distribute any impact. I've worn a lot of knee pads throughout a variety of sports - these are for recreational park safety compliance, nothing more. perhaps someone could post a clip of these not bunching up behind their knee. Also the package was clearly opened, potentially worn - yuck. Even the picture on the front of the package shows the product bunching on the models left knee. Update - the shipping cost to me as per the itemized invoice was $3.95USD for a package that weighs 1Kg the return shipping cost provided by returns department is $22USD for a package weighing 3+Kg...
