Result: very good climbing ability. Robust against grit (grit!), no wear noticeable within 2 weeks.
No loss of speed when sliding. We therefore ordered these climbing skins for our own LL skis. Please note:
Before gluing on the ski skins, the running surface in the gluing area must be absolutely free of wax, grease and oil.....otherwise the skins will come loose.
otherwise the heavily stressed front edge will come loose. When gluing: heat the running surface well with a hairdryer to 40-60 degrees. The Swedes at the ski center also had this experience.
