The CCM Tacks AS-550 Skates are a stellar choice for hockey players looking to get on the ice. The one-piece boot has thick ankle foams, making for a very snug fit of your heel and ankle at the back of the skate. The boot shell is hard, and the skates' liner is thin. This offers immediate power transfer, but does not provide ultimate comfort. The pro-inspired felt tongue keeps the top of the foot comfy and protected from light hockey impacts as well. The blades come pre-sharpened.
Note: If you are looking for a more comfortable fit with a thicker sock, we recommend ordering one size larger, since the skates sizing is performance oriented, with a tighter fit.

To measure your foot length, you really need to measure from the back of your heel to your longest toe. Then it is recommended to add 5mm to your foot length and choose that size.
