Hestra Leather Balm is a natural balm you can use for your leather Hestra gloves, 3-finger gloves, and mittens in order ensure water repellant properties and to prevent them from drying out and thereby prolong the life of the gloves. Note that light leathers may darken somewhat. This leather grease nourishes and protects, ensuring durability and flexibility. Perfect for maintaining all leather goods.
How to:
- 1) Apply with a polishing cloth
- 2) Rub in until the leather is saturated
Note: Hestra recommends only using the leather balm for Hestra sport gloves in goatskin or cowhide leather. Other leathers such as deerskin, elk leather, peccary, carpincho and hairsheep which are more common in Hestra dress are oftentimes not suitable to be treated with leather balm. The reason is these leathers don't absorb the balm very well and thus may leave a sticky surface and also cause the leather to look mottled with color variations.
