Description

The Roces EGO 3x110 TIF freeskates have a really nice price-to-performance ratio. If you are looking for agile and maneuverable skates for slalom and urban freeskating, these skates could be for you. On these Roces freeskates, you will find a hard boot. So if good power transfer and support are something you are looking for, the hard boot construction will provide you with that. The Roces EGO 3x110 TIF run small in size. We therefore recommend choosing one size up from your regular shoe size. These skates will fit just right if you have slightly narrower feet.

  • High-Cut cuff gives you maximum ankle support for stabilization and reducing your muscle fatigue
  • Aluminum frame offers you direct handling characteristics while being super lightweight
  • Flat setup with wheels of the same size gives you a nice and stable base
  • 110mm wheels with a hardness of 85A making it easy for you to reach high speed and to maintain it for longer time
  • Removable liners that are ventilated, shock absorbing and anatomically shaped
  • The combination of breathable mesh and foam in the liner will keep your feet comfy and well-ventilated
  • Brake included in the package

Remember to check the screws before first use and tighten them if necessary. Please also note that you have to regularly examine the condition of the screws afterward.

Notice: The strap/loop on the back of the boot is for carrying the skates and is not meant to be pulled when you take the skates on.

It's been about 25 years since I've had a pair of inline Skates and I regret waiting that long. These Roces are a great way to get back into it. These are considered budget skates, but for me, I really didn't notice any shortcuts or places where they seemed to skimped out on. I did upgrade the insoles with some Superfeet (I usually replace all my insoles in all my shoes and boots), I also replaced the laces with some waxed hockey laces. Shipping was pretty quick considering they came from Europe. My skates arrived within 7 days of order. I'd recommend Egos for everyone getting into the sport, or someone who doesn't have too much to spend. As for Skate Pro, I'll definitely order from them again.

My first 3 wheeler, happy with the skates and service. Quality product, solid build. Feet feel secure and properly sized and snug. Swapped out to workboot insoles and attached the supplied rear brake. Speed is a plus and cruising is less effortless compared to traditional 4 wheelers on the market.

I have bought these as a beginner in EU43/US10 and have been practicing at home. They are very comfortable having me progress well and very satisfied with the service from SkatePro!

These skates are comfortable and fast. They absorb a lot of the shock when I skate on the streets.

I am 72 years old and haven't been on skates for 12 years. Found these to be a real confidence booster! Good fit for my foot, buckles are snug fitting although lacing could be improved. Wheels roll smoothly over bumps. It only took me a week to get up to 2.5 miles a day. Good skate at a good price!

My first big wheel (110) skate. They are better that I have anticipated considering the prices.

I'm really pleased with these skates. I've previously skated four (inline) wheels fitness K2 and this was my first experience in three wheels. Boots hold feet much tighter than K2 which gives more control, but not as soft and comfortable. That's I believe by design. Since I bought these skates I skated only once for couple of hours and tested in all possible ways. In compare with four wheelers they are much more manoeuvrable and more dangerous. The grip with the road is less, so you have to take that into account too! So far I liked my new purchase. The quality is very good, skates are probably even lighter than K2. I like aluminium frame and big wheels! Delivery (to the UK) was within declared time, no customs clearance needed. I tracked the parcel daily :) Size wise: I bought one size bigger than my normal trainers size and they sit very well.

I have bought a set in size 8 which is a size up than my shoes and the same size as K2 inline skates I have. The overall quality seems fine for casual/fitness rollerblading. The hard boot is too tight in general and the left one is awkward in the ankle area - it hurts my left ankle and I have to wear a protector. The insole is too thin for my liking but does the job. In general, less comfortable than my K2s. Putting on/taking off these skates is a hard job that takes time and requires some force. If you can spend more, buy more expensive ones. If you are on a strict budget, as I had set up for myself, buy these. I ride between 3 to 12 mil, on mostly rough tarmac, and in general it is an enjoyable experience. The wheels are large enough to skim over the cracks and fast enough to enjoy the ride. The skates seem a reasonable choice but the trade-off may be a little annoying and sometimes frustrating.

Reply from SkatePro:  Hey there,

Thank you for the awesome review 😊

I like how detailed it is. I agree with most of your comments, at the end of the day it is a mid-budget skate, that offers some awesome features.

I think you would agree for those on a budget these skates are very suitable. The wheels on these due to the size of the wheels are forgiving and make skating an enjoyable experience.

All the best
