Description

With the Swell series - Powerslide has tried to re-write the book on fitness skates. Starting from scratch they have made every effort to create a unique and supreme fitness skate that offers light weight, soft boot construction and also the favoured 3-wheel setup.

The built-in liner makes the boot fit closely and makes the skate comfortable and very responsive. The power knit makes it breathable and ads to the comfortable fit. Due to the anatomical design of the shell with integrated ankle padding, there is no need for ankle padding. Therefor Powerslide have been able to make upper and lining one single layer.

The included height adjustable brake helps you control you de-accceleration.

These skates are pretty light weight and are easy to maneuver. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I am completely in love with these skates. The larger wheels make for less rolling resistance and a somewhat smoother ride over cracks and pits in asphalt/concrete surfaces. That and the Wicked ABEC 7 bearings that came installed add up to a quick pair of skates that make it easy to get a lot of speed. The fit is pretty tight. I usually wear a women's 9 in shoes, so I went for the size 43 (EUR) skates. They have a good inch of room in the toe box, so no chance of blisters or crushing. Again, the ankle and cuff are pretty tight, and I find myself loosening the laces after a bit to relieve foot cramping, but I'm sure that will change once I've broken them in. All in all, excellent skates. Very light, very fast, and they look amazing!
