Description

The Head Shape e-V10 are designed to be the ideal choice for intermediate and advanced riders. The core of these skis is made of graphene. Karuba lightweight wood is used inside in order to keep the weight low. Moreover, the graphene added to the construction improves the power-transfer of your skis.

Having a profile with rocker in both tip and tail, they offer easier turns in heavy snow.

I did a lot of research before buying, but no substitute for trying! They've felt intuitive, easy-turning, and good for carving and moguls from the start. In light powder, groomers, spring snow, small icy patches they're a lot of fun, much better than my 2-year-old 99mm skis I had thought would be my "western all mountain one ski quiver." I also prefer them to the several highly regarded 84-93mm skis I've demoed. No difficulty getting on edge, or making smooth turns. I suspect my other skis will stay on the shelf. For calibration, I ski most of the mountain comfortably, reasonably but not extremely aggressive, enjoy moguls, but ski only 5-10 days a year and not a true expert. At 6', 160 lb the 170cm I got is very good for me, though perhaps I could have stepped up one size. The "energy management circuit" concept -- turning unwanted vibration into electrical signals which are then dissipated in a resistor -- appeals to me as a scientist. Is it important or just marketing? No idea!
