Safety Warnings
- Make sure that all screws are properly tightened before first use.
- If children are involved in assembly or repair, they must be supervised by an adult.
- Only use the inline skates for their intended purpose.
- Not intended for commercial use.
- Always wear proper protective gear: helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads.
- Follow local traffic regulations.
- Avoid inline skating in pedestrian zones or on sidewalks where you may disturb others.
- Do not modify your inline skates. Alterations may compromise safety.
- Self-locking threads can wear out over time.
- Sharp edges can form during use. Inspect inline skates regularly and remove any sharp edges.
Adjusting the Size
Your inline skates are adjustable to fit different foot sizes. To set the correct size:
- Locate the size adjustment button under the heel.
- Undo the buckles.
- Press and hold the size adjustment button and slide the toe section forward or backward to the desired size.
- Listen for a “click” to confirm it’s securely locked.
Always check that all parts are securely tightened before skating.
Maintenance
Maintaining the Wheels
To keep the wheels in good shape for longer, you can flip them over. It is a good idea to follow a specific pattern for rotating your wheels: Learn how to increase the lifespan of your inline skate wheels by rotating them.
Inevitably, wheels wear down over time. You should replace them if they no longer roll smoothly or show signs of cracks, or excessive wear:
- How to remove the wheels: Unscrew the wheel axles and take off the wheel.
- How to reinstall the new wheels: Place the wheel in the skate's frame and insert the axles. Tighten the axles.

Replacing the brake pads
Check for wear frequently. Replace the brake pads if they are worn.
- Unscrew the brake pad bolt.
- Remove the worn brake pad.
- Install a new brake pad.
- Tighten the bolt securely.
Maintaining the Bearings
The high-quality bearings provide a smooth ride and need minimal maintenance. Keep them free from dirt and grit.
How clean bearings:
- Remove the wheels using an Allen key and make sure to keep the axles.
- Use a bearing removal tool or the tip of your Allen key to push the bearings out of the wheels.
- Wipe all parts with a paper towel or soft cloth.
- Place bearings in a container and cover with liquid bearing cleaner.
- Seal and gently shake to remove dirt and gunk. Repeat if necessary.
- Dry the bearings completely on a paper towel.
- Apply lubricant/bearing oil.
- Put the bearings back into the wheels.
- Reattach the wheels with the original axles.

GENERAL CARE TIPS
- Keep your inline skates clean for optimal performance.
- Smooth any sharp edges that develop with use.
- Do not alter the material or structure of the inline skates. Some components are self-locking and may malfunction if changed.
- Clean with a damp cloth only – avoid harsh cleaners.
- Inspect your inline skates before and after each use for damage or wear.

Learning to Inline Skate
If you’re a beginner:
- Ask a friend to assist you or use a handrail for practicing balance when using your inline skates for the first time.
- Choose smooth, dry, clean, and low-traffic surfaces.
- Start by practicing balance.
- Move forward using long, gliding strides, keeping the wheels on the ground for as long as possible.
- Have someone experienced guide you until you’re confident inline skating independently.
Learn basic inline skating techniques, including braking, in this online guide.
BRAKING
Always stay alert and be prepared to stop when inline skating.
- Braking distance depends on your technique, speed, and the surface on which you brake.
- Practice your technique on flat ground before inline skating on slopes.
- Check the condition of the brake pads regularly – worn brakes increase stopping distance.
How you brake:
- Drag one foot behind you and press gently on the braking pad.
- Increase pressure gradually until you come to a complete stop.
