Onyx Core 5mm Frontzip 2018 Wetsuit

The Ion Onyx Core Semidry wetsuit with chest zipper in 5/4mm thickness is a perfect all-around solution for watersports like kitesurfing, surfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing and SUP (Stand Up Paddling) with great moveability especially in the arms and legs where this is mainly needed. Besides keeping you warm in cold waters it will also cover you for the windchill factor.

The wetsuit is made with Ion´s Hot Stuff lining on the inside of the wetsuit on the chest to keep you comfortable.

The knee area is extra protected with Supra Tex nylon (high level of abrasion resistant fabric) for better durability and to optimize protection of wear of the suit. Also, this wetsuit has improved comfort and flexibility due to the fact that the collar, wrists, knees, elbows have a contour cut to follow the body's naturally shapes. The wetsuit features a key pocket on the inside of the chest.

Ion´s general guide (can vary from individual to individual) informs that this wetsuit is suitable for temperatures as cold as 32° degree Fahrenheit to 48° degree Fahrenheit.

Features:

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a solvent-free water-based glue used in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To strengthen stress points inside the wetsuit Ion have added Melco tape for increased durability. Ion notes: “If you accidentally left the suit in the trunk of your car on a hot day, they can start to peel off. Don't panic! Gently use an iron over the affected area as the glue is activated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits following body contours enhancing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits come with contour cut.

• Drain Holes

To avoid accumulation of water where overlap fabrics are located drain holes are added. The drain holes won’t expand.

• Internal Key Pocket

At the inside of the wetsuit is an internal pocket for keys that can resist water.

• GBS - Glued Blind Stitched

To bond neoprene panels effectively to reach superb water resistance, glueing is used in combination with blind stitch sewing the panels together.

• Supra Tex

Fabrics used for more exposed areas on the wetsuit - for instance, knee areas. The Supra Tex fabric is more abrasion resistant.
