As an older (40+) skateboarder I'm at the age where my hips take serious damage. Theses shorts are perfect for my needs. The padding placement is spot on over my hips and this has been crucial due to the countless times I've slammed in since I purchased and started to wear these shorts. The only gripe I have is that the non slip elastic around the thighs was too tight for me. I resolved this by physically stretching the elastic to almost breaking point. Now I don't even notice I'm wearing these shorts. The sizing was spot on (I'm 6'1" tall and have 32" waist) so I bought a size medium and they fit like a good pair of boxer shorts with no restrictions when moving. If you're on a budget then definitely buy these shorts, you won't be disappointed, especially at the current price. | |
