Skateable piece of art by Powell Peralta x Levon Biss
The Biss Flight deck by Powell Peralta is basically a skateable piece of art that features all the proven Powell Peralta skateboard technologies.
The deck art is made by the famous British photographer Levon Biss, whose art has been appearing on the covers of TIME and The New York Times magazines. Today Levon's focus is on the natural world, in this case, detailed insects. Each image takes him more than 4 weeks to create and consists of more than 8000 individual photos.
The Flight deck itself is made thinner, stronger and longer-lasting than the standard 7-ply deck thanks to its 2-plies of epoxy/fiberglass. This also adds a bunch of rebound and snap - perfect for going higher on your Ollies.

Das zweite fligh powell Deck das ich fahr. Dieses Mal ist die Grafik so krass! Hätte es nicht erwartet aber der Druck flasht in echt so brudaaaal! Ich werde in Zukunft nur noch flight Deck fahren. So kann ich sicher stellen dass das shape immer gleich bleibt. Der Übergang zwischen Nose und mittlerem concave ist super gelungen. Die von der Seite betrachtete Welle des shapes ist recht kurz was ich super finde!!! Bei billigen decks sind die recht lang und dort flippt sich alles viel Stressiger. Die Karbon Einlagen tuen ihr übriges, Pop bis zum Ende und man wechselt nur noch das Deck weil die tail Spitz geschliffen ist. Die Haltbarkeit rechtfertigt sofort den Preis. Fahre 8.75. | |

Très belle planche, légère et avec un très bon pop. Par contre, la décoration me semble fragile : un morceau de grip qui s'est collé au dessous de la planche a arréché la décoration quand je l'ai décollé. | |
